Ok, so everyone knows how to do a basic tomato pasta sauce right and a fairly decent one at that? I thought that until I discovered the secret of making really amazing pasta sauce is adding creme fraiche. If you add cream to your pasta sauces anyway then you will know how this can add a richness to the tomatoes that really brings out the flavour. Well creme fraiche does that times 100. Obviously it's not as healthy as without but a couple of tablespoons won't do you any harm and thi is man food remember- it's all about the flavour.
